dont you find it strange that the majority of otherkin people only seem to “identify” as “cool” animals??? we get lots of dragons, wolves, horses, all the majestic powerful ones

im not being resentful towards otherkin people at all, but i think like many in the “trans community”, its all just a cheap shot at getting an “identity” so you can be “unique”

because sure, if you identify as a friggin winged wolf, youll be seen as a ‘cool kid’, but if it were say…..a duck? no one would take you seriously

i saw a person on dA do something like this a couple of years ago. they apparently identified as a “pan-homoromantic genderqueer ftm mtf”

i don’t even know what that means thats not even a thing

if youre gonna have an identity, make sure its genuine

otherwise youre just insulting the rest of us with serious identity issues

Yes, I am technically a swan, but that’s just another way of saying “big aggressive duck”. I don’t think there’s anything cool or majestic about swans, we are just big ducks and I identify that way, I’m not bothered if someone wants to think of me as a duck, because it’s true.

I know there was another duck (not swan) on Tumblr recently, I don’t know where they went but they were around for a while. And one of my swan friends is married to a Mandarin duck.

Oh, and there was a betta fish on my Tumblr last night.

So tell me how we are being so special, again?
